Description
5K Night of PRs takes place on Friday, April 28th at the Blacksburg H.S. track. We will have pacers for most races helping runners achieve a personal best. There will be five to six races with the first starting at 6:30 pm. Running on a rubber track for 12.5 laps to see how many folks can set a Personal Record. Pacers, race shirt, music, a fast surface, and medals for each section. It will be a fun time! 6:00 pm - Kids 400 Dash Races presented by Adjust NRV - Free 6:15 pm - Kids Mile Races presented by Adjust NRV - Free 6:30 pm - Fastest section - must be trying to break 18:00 or faster. 6:50 pm 2nd section – 18:00 to 20:00 min runners. 19:00 min pacer in race 7:25 pm 3rd section – 20:00-25:00 min runners. Pacer for 22 flat in the race. 7:40 pm 4th section – 25:00-30:00 min runners. Pacer at 26 min flat in the race. 8:10 pm 5th section – 30 min and over. Pacer at 30:00 flat We will have a pacer in each race with the exception of the fast heat and kids races. You do not need to follow a pacer. Medals are awarded to the top five in each race. The fast section will reward the top ten with medals. Results will be merged for the RunAbout Race Series Points. $23.00 before April 15th. $26.00 April 15th - April 25th $30.00 April 26th-28th
