Description
Course The Highlander Heaven 5K Challenge runs through and around the Glenvar High School Campus. The course was designed as part of an AP Government 20 Project by Carly Wilkes, a cross country and track and field runner at Glenvar. The course will be run completely on campus and includes pavement, grass, hills and a .3 mile challenging trail – truly something for everyone! Registration $25 cash or check payable to Glenvar High School and mailed to 4549 Malus Dr., Salem, VA 24153. The $25 fee includes an event t-shirt and refreshments. Registration for any student in grades K-12 is $10 **t-shirt may not be guaranteed for late registrations** Awards Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers as well as the top overall under 18 male and female finishers. Post Race Refreshments will be available in the Glenvar High School cafeteria. Indoor bathrooms will also be available. Masks must be worn inside the building. Social distancing should be practiced as best as possible. Volunteers As with any race, we need volunteers!
