The 9th Annual Hokie Half Marathon will be October 3rd, 2021. The earlier date of Sept 19th is parents weekend and there were very few hotel rooms available so we changed it to 10/03. Registration will open on April 19th. The Hokie Half Marathon and 5K is limited to 1000 runners at this time. If the governor's order changes we will add more spots.
At this time masks are required until you pass the start line (then masks may be removed during the race). Once you finish we ask that you put on your mask when exiting the finish corral area. We will have masks available if you need one. Stagger starts could also be used depending on Covid situation.
We will be sending out updated information once we get close to race day on procedures.

Hokie Half Marathon and 5K
COME TO BEAUTIFUL BLACKSBURG, VIRGINIA THIS FALL AND RUN WITH THE HOKIES! The 9th Annual Hokie Half Marathon and 5K will take place Sunday, October 3rd, 2021. So come join us in October and earn your Hokie Bird finisher medal and some awesome race swag! The Hokie Half Marathon is also part of the RunAbout Sports Race Series.

You can register for the 2021 Hokie Half Marathon & 5k on this website or by mailing a hard copy form to RunAbout Sports.
** At this time the 2021 race is limited to 1000 runners. The Hokie Half Marathon is limited to 3000 participants and the Hokie 5K is limited to 1000 runners and walkers if things open up fully.
