A combined trail and road race with an extremely unique finish - what better way to see the Natural Bridge of Virginia than by running underneath it? Come join us for the 3rd Annual Race to the Rock Bridge 5K and Run in Remembrance 10K. The course will travel through various parts of the Natural Bridge Park, including paved roads by the hotel, gravel trails, single track wooded trails, and a long hill to the finish under the Natural Bridge. This race has rough terrain, high elevation changes with steep hills, and little flat ground, but the views are worth it!
The Virginia Conservation Legacy Fund, Inc. (VCLF) and Natural Bridge Park are teaming up with the Semper Fi Society of Virginia Military Institute to honor veterans and raise money for the Rockbridge Retreat Project, a nonprofit organization committed to providing outdoor activities in Rockbridge County, Virginia for Special Operation Veterans. Proceeds of the event will be donated to Rockbridge Retreat Project and VCLF's efforts to transition the Natural Bridge to a Virginia State Park.
Spectators: Please bring a canned good or $5 donation to the Rockbridge Retreat Project in lieu of an admission ticket until 10am.
