A combined trail and road race with an extremely unique finish - what better way to see the Natural Bridge of Virginia than by running underneath it? On Saturday, November 14th the Natural Bridge Park will host the 2nd Annual Race to the Rock Bridge with the addition of the Run in Remembrance 10K. This year Natural Bridge Park is teaming up with the Semper Fi Society of Virginia Military Institute to honor veterans and raise money for the Rockbridge Retreat Project, a nonprofit organization committed to providing outdoor activities in Rockbridge County, Virginia for Special Operation Veterans.
The course will travel through various parts of the Natural Bridge Park, including paved roads by the hotel, gravel trails, single track wooded trails, and a long hill to the finish under the Natural Bridge. This race has rough terrain, high elevation changes with steep hills, but the views are worth it!
Spectators will have access to the finish line at the Natural Bridge and are asked to bring a $5.00 donation or a canned good. All spectator donations will go to support the Rockbridge Retreat Project and Virginia Conservation Legacy Fund.
Prices will increase after October 21st. Register by October 21st to receive a t-shirt!
