Camryn's Race for Usher Syndrome is a 2-mile open race held alongside the Clash with the Titans high school cross country meet.
This race is taking place on September 22, in honor of Usher Syndrome Awareness Day (September 15th), which is the same day as the Equinox. This is done because it represents a time of going into darkness, which is what the life of someone with Usher syndrome is like. We are going into a time of more darkness as we progressively lose more vision.
If you would like to race, please pay the day of with cash or check. Make check payable to HVHS 5000 Titan Trail Roanoke, Virginia 24018. If you would like just donate, donations are accepted on a fundraising page: https://www.usher-syndrome.org/take-action/race-for-usher-syndrome.html?blm_aid=17866
