Official race shirt is guaranteed to all preregistered runners. Remaining runners will receive a shirt as supply lasts.
NCH\DCH Team Challenge for employees of Norton Community Hospital and Dickenson Community Hospital ONLY. Teams will consist of 5 members. Entry forms for all team members must be submitted together.
Headphones and strollers are permitted on the course.
This race is part of the Wise County Fall Fling:
Nestled in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, and on the Crooked Road, Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail, Wise is “the place to be” during the second weekend each October. Held downtown in Wise and on the lawn of the historic courthouse while fall color is at its peak, the event features over 125 vendors selling crafts, food, jewelry, and more. Live traditional music ranging from banjos to bagpipes is played at Big Glades Square on Main Street. The Fall Fling also features essay, photo and art contests, a 5K race, a great Kids Korner, and once again this year, the Anything Apples Contest.
