Now that Deschutes Brewery is coming to town, what better to celebrate thier arrival than with a Beer Mile on Sunday September 25th during the Fallon Park CycleCross races!
If you’re not familiar with the Beer Mile, here’s how it works:
Chug a beer, run 1/4 mile, chug a beer, run 1/4 mile, chug a beer, run 1/4 mile, chug a beer and run 1/4 mile. So… 4 beers and 1 mile, can you handle that?!
Runners will start at 4:00pm and test their luck on parts of the Cross Course that the bikers just finished racing on! This will be a little more challenging that your average Beer Mile so make sure you check out the course ahead of time and wear the right type of shoes!
Prize packs will be given to the top three Male and Female winners provided by Deschutes Brewery! How awesome is that?
Entry fees for this event will be $20 and included a one-of-a-kind T-Shirt if you register before September.
Come out and challenge yourself in this 1st Annual event… or just come drink beer and watch! See you there!!
Packet Pick-up will be at RunAbout Sports on Friday: 12-7 and Saturday: 10-6. Race day Packet Pick-up will be from 12-3 at the RunAbout Sports tents near the Deschutes Beer Garden.
